Crossing Over Water is a challenge event for all abilities. The aim of this challenge is to find a method of crossing water (swimming, crossing bridges, etc.) to stand in solidarity with the difficult journeys made by refugees and asylum seekers.

Story

I am crossing over and walking by water to stand in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers who have had to make difficult and perilous journeys across water. This is raising money for Freedom from Torture who are dedicated to healing and protecting people who have survived torture. They provide therapies to improve physical and mental health, medically document torture, and provide legal and welfare help. They expose torture globally, they fight to hold torturing states to account and campaign for fairer treatment of torture survivors in the UK.
