On 15th June 2023 alongside friends and colleagues I will be taking part in PedElle cycling challenging, covering 400km in Slovenia over three days with 6,000m of elevation. The ride starts in Ljubljana, follows Lake Bled and finishes in Piran.

I have chosen to sign up to PedElle with just 6 weeks to train having not exercised for 8 months. Our year ahead has taken a different turn and the challenge, dedication to training and comradery of the women around coupled with the opportunity to raise money for Club peloton was hard to turn down.

I have been out on my bike at every opportunity to get fit for this challenge, early mornings, late nights and weekends - finally back to loving (nearly) every hill !

Most importantly we're doing this as a Knight Frank team for a wonderful charity, Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org). This charity and the real estate cycling community transforming the lives of young vulnerable children. Since 2006, it has given £4.5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference, including:

- recruiting families for 1,150 children waiting longer than 18 months to find adoptive homes

- assisting 500 families with post adoption support- awarding 800 bikes, tandems and adapted trikes to children and young people affected by cancer

- supporting research to illustrate the relationship between physical and mental well-being and physical activity in children surviving cancer

- tackling the root causes of violent street crime through 18 amazing projects

- assisting the children of 27 families living with a loved one with MSA
