Story

I will be taking part in Willow Woods first organised Snowdon Challenge Event on Saturday 21st May 2022, scaling the highest mountain in Wales, at 1,085m it will take approximately 7 hours to walk, starting and finishing in Llanberis. It costs £2.8 million to run Willow Wood Hospice each year, they currently have to obtain in the region of 79% of that figure themselves. Thank you for supporting me on this challenge and Willow Wood Hospice!

I have been climbing Snowdon, then i've talked myself out of it..........i'm too fat, i'm too heavy.............i'm not fit enough, my backs too sore! then i'm doing it again...........then i'm not!! But i finally got to thinking that nobody ever achieved their goals by sitting back and saying "i can't do it."   I am so privelaged to work in an environment that every single day highlights to me how lucky I really am -   the strength and resilience people show during the darkest of times in their lives never ceases to amaze me.  Since working here i have met some of the most amazing people and their families so many of whom say they don't know what they'd do without the Hospice.
Please help us to continue to provide a safe, comfortable environment where we can care for people with life limiting illness, many of whom are in their lasts months/weeks/days of life.

PLEASE SPONSOR ME! THIS IS MY HARDEST CHALLENGE TO DATE! AND I'VE JUMPED OUT OF A PLANE!! (I THINK I'D RATHER DO THAT AGAIN THAN CLIMB SNOWDON!) :-)

THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS.
