In 2019 our mum and nan Kathleen Bacon was diagnosed with terminal cancer. In 2020 after months of treatment nan became more unwell. In September with the support of Farleigh Hospice at home team we loved and cared for nan at home just where she wanted to be. 

On Friday 8 January 2021 just as she had predicted, nan left to join gramps with the stars. We'll forever be grateful to Farleigh for the help and support they gave us all, but particularly for the love they showed to nan. 

First up is a fundraiser for the Thames Bridges Trek 2021. The three of us will be walking 25km over nan's Bridges, taking her with us every step of the way. 

The three of us would be so grateful for your support to raise vital funds for Farleigh. The care they provide to people at the end of their lives and also to their families is beyond comprehension, and all of the staff there will hold a special place in our hearts for always.
