REMEMBERING A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

We are supporting fundraising for Alzheimer's Australia following the recent passing of our dear Mum, Valda Evans.  Mum lived with dementia for around 10 years.  We watched her decline with great sadness.

Valda was a beautiful woman - a wife and mother to one son and three daughters. She was nana to 12 adorable grand children and she was a loving great nana to another 12.  

She was the co-founder of Ashbury Netball Club and she held the position of President from its inception in 1972 until the day of her passing (9.9.17). She will be fondly remembered by all involved with the Club over the past 45 years.

As a family, we are keen to promote awareness and raise funds for dementia research - to hopefully find a cure but in the meantime to educate and support others living with the disease and their families. 

Our Mum was a quiet and selfless woman who loved her family. She had a passion for netball and for nurturing the game with hundreds of young girls and women. She gave so much to her family and sport and we love her for that and we miss her.
