Story
Hi all,
For those of you that know me, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2019. I would consider myself as one of the lucky ones and I had a small operation and a course of radiotherapy and as of today, still clear.
In October my friend Lisa and I are walking the Camino Santiago Trail in Portugal, it is a 78 mile trek over 6days to raise funds for the prevent breast cancer charity. One which I believe will make a difference to so many people lives as we all know some one who have been touched by this silent killer.
Please help us by donating anything you can, large or small and see if we can help to prevent this awful disease
Predict. Prevent. Protect. You could call it our mantra. As the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer, we’re committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Unlike many cancer charities, we’re focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, we believe we can stop the problem before it starts. Being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, we’re right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.
