Story
Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, 618 children and young people from across the UK arrive. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential.
There is also a very personal reason that we would like to raise money for GOSH - in 2015, before my daughter Sophie was even 2 years old, she had to have an operation. She had a lump near the bridge of her nose which turned out to be a nasal dermoid cyst. She received such amazing treatment - including a CT scan, appointments with extremely knowledgeable consultants and treatment from GOSH. Luckily for us she had a straightforward cyst and it was removed without any issues. Now it is time for me to do something to say thank you to GOSH!
