Story
In 2017 like many others, I heard the devastating news that I have a Brain tumour. It changed and devastated my world in so many ways both at the time and in ways that will remain with me forever.
You all know my story and have seen me muddle my way through, trying to remain positive and smiling. My strength comes from my determination to live as normal a life as possible (whatever normal is) I live my life as best as I can with a woman that always has my back, family and friends that support my endeavours and crazy ideas.
I've always wanted to do something to give back a little to the Charities that have helped me and so many others. Brainstrust and The Brain Tumour Charity have given me support and advice over the years, which is why I have come up with a challenge that will truly challenge me. I really do not enjoy running in the slightest, give me a 100kg barbell any day over running anywhere.
This is why I have chosen to run 3 miles a day for the 30 days of November. I know these are extremely challenging times for everyone and any amount you can afford to contribute will go a long way to helping others who hear the words "you have a brain tumour".
