Event: Stirling Novice Triathlon, on 5 June 2011

Story

The Stirling Triathlon was yesterday and I was amazed and delighted to be the second female in the Super Sprint Category. I swam 400 metres in 9.25 minutes, cycled 15 kms in 31.26 minute and ran 2.5kms in 13.01 minutes which combined with transition time resulted in an overall total time of  55 minutes and 38 seconds.

You can still sponsor me and help us to reach our goal of raising £17,000 for the St Joseph's Centre in Balerno.

The St Joseph’s Centre will be a fantastic facility for the whole Balerno community and beyond. Once the refurbishment work is complete, St Joseph’s will be used by all ages – a place to meet friends for a coffee, for older or isolated people to find support, for teenagers to socialise, for groups to meet and for concerts and events to take place.

St Joseph’s will be a meeting place at the heart of the community. Our target for the refurbishment is £250,000 and we currently have a shortfall of £17,000.
