Story

Thank  you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to participate in the Great East Swim this year in support of Epilepsy Action. I have never done anything like this before and those of you who know me will know I am not an athletic person, but I have always loved swimming so thought I would give it a go.

I am swimming for Epilepsy Action because my dad was diagnosed with the condition when I was five years old. Thanks to the Epilepsy Action charity, the advice they give people suffering from the epilepsy and the research they support, my dad's condition has been under control for 18 years. Therefore my dad as an individual and my family have not been affected as much as we could have been.

However this isn't always the case, and for some people it is a daily struggle. I want to raise money for this charity to contribute to the great work they do, to find ways to help those who aren't as fortunate as my family. If you would sponsor me it would be much appreciated.

Thanks everyone
