The Lewis Project has always created ambitious projects for their members since opening in January 2015 with the view of promoting mental wellbeing. This year they would like to give their members the experience of a lifetime by recording their own album in a professional studio and giving them an invaluable insight into the process, as well as transferable skills. They believe music is a powerful force.
Young people can struggle and suffer silently with issues such as anxiety and depression which can lead to low self worth, negativity and sometimes suicidal thoughts. Bringing young musos together and providing a sense of belonging by creating music and performing, gives a sense of purpose and boosts confidence and self worth.
Your donation will help pay towards; a week's studio time, the production & engineering of the album, the cost of CD's, printing, streaming and media platforms. Any contributions exceeding £3000 will help towards the general running costs of The Lewis Project.
