We are raising support for 3 projects which encourage Slovak or Polish Christians to respond to needs in the wider world, quite a new concept for churches there.

1. Integra are developing a partnership with a Slovak Christian band called Timothy. They are popular, and regularly tour Slovakia - they have agreed that at every concert they will promote Integra's Malaika project for Children at Risk in Kenya, particularly specific children in need of sponsorship. In the New Year, they plan to visit the children's programmes in Kenya to make a documentary film for use in their promotional concerts. Donations for the costs of this film will be multiplied by stimulating Slovak giving for many individual children at risk.

2. Mission to the East in Poland support missionaries in 2 sensitive South Asian countries. In one, there are needs to support the staff and the students at a small Bible school, where young men and women are equipped with Biblical theological knowledge to return to their home villages as leaders, pastors, evangelists.

3. Mission to the East has someone in a different country, where there are financial needs for the upkeep and running of a shelter for abused women and their children. This is a safe place where the women are shown unconditional kindness, educated, and helped to become independent, with skills to find a job and provide a home-life for themselves and their children. All these women have harrowing and inspirational stories, and the workers there literally risk their lives every day going there, providing joy and hope in place of despair.
