I originally was meant to cycle in May 2020 - this has now been postponed to September 2022.  The training continues..........

In 2020 it will be the 20th Anniversary of my sister, Wendy's, untimely death from Cancer.  At just 39 she left 2 beautiful children, Danielle and Samantha with only memories of their mum.

The treatment and curing of cancer is improving all the time and my wonderful friends, Alexandra, Brenda, Sally and Hilary are testimony to this, and although my college friend, Alison, lost her battle, leaving 3. young daughters, statistically we are living in an age that, whilst we are not there yet, we are 'getting there'.

So as I ask you to join me in raising funds, it is not just for me in remembering Wendy's legacy, but to help all those whom you know are, or have been, affected by cancer; but perhaps more to the point, those who 'will' be affected by it in the future.

I realise the whole world and his brother asks for donations these days, and I will not be offended if you are already committed or too stretched to be able to donate, but I would say that no donation would be too small!
