Story
As you know, I am a long time supporter of the Rotary Club of Sacramento's Sacramento Century, an annual bike riding event with rides ranging from a family fun ride to a 100 mile ride along the Sacramento Delta. This year's beneficiary is once again the Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery Program.
I am also extremely please that this year's event will once again be an in-person event, though there will also be a self-directed physical activity plan during the times and dates of your choice. For more information, see our website: SacramentoCentury.com
Please join me with the Rotary Club of Sacramento Foundation and the Sacramento Children's Home to raise vital funds as part of the 8th annual Sac Century Challenge. The event will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at Capitol Mall in Downtown Sacramento. All proceeds from this event will support the Sacramento Children's Home Crisis Nursery which protects our communities most vulnerable children by offering a safe, supportive environment during times of crisis with two locations in Sacramento. The Crisis Nursery provides free, 24 hour emergency child care for children from birth to age five. The Crisis Nursery reduces incidents of child abuse and decreases family violence by offering a safe place for children and support services to adults.
