Story
I have decided to run the Brighton half marathon in memory of a very special little girl Niamh Maguire who lost her fight for life against complex epilepsy and Mitochondrial Disease in February 2009.
I am raising funds for a brilliant charity dedicated to helping those affected by Mitochondrial disease, which was set up in memory of another brave little girl called Lily who lost her fight to the condition two years before Niamh.
The Lily Foundation has a vision to find a cure for Mitochrondrial Disease and other metabolic disorders. It also needs financial support to continue the great work it does supporting families of affected children.
For those that know me this is the first time I have ever run anywhere let alone a half maraton so dig deep and help me support this amazing cause.
