Event: Great North Run 2022, on 11 September 2022
Our amazing Great North Run team are taking on the world's largest half marathon to raise vital funds to improve diagnosis and treatment, and fund research to find a cure; to empower all those with Crohn's and Colitis to live freer, fuller lives.

Story

Most of you know that I have done a few fundraisers for Crohns and Coliits UK in recent years. I started after my younger brother was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. He was so ill!! It was an incredibly frightening time for all of us. Thankfully he is now in remission but he and many other of my friends are still affected by the conditions. If I can raise a tiny bit, with your help, to move the treatments along and support them then that’s great.

Please help this amazing charity to make a difference (and to help soften the blow of 13.1 miles in an inflatable sauna! 😂😂😂). Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You'll be making my "Dreamies" come true  xxx

Crohn's & Colitis UK are the UK's leading charity for Crohn's and Colitis. Right now, an estimated 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. I am taking part in the 2022 Great North Run to support Crohn's & Colitis UK, and your donation can help Crohn's & Colitis UK's mission to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and raise awareness.
