Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page

I am running the Great North Run 2022 and raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity

I am Nursing Services Lead for the charity and am passionate about the work the Charity does in supporting its beneficiaries. The charity delivers mental well being, physical well being and social support to its beneficiaries at their 3 centres, or digitally or by a blend of the two

The nursing service is based at Jubilee House and supports beneficiaries to access physical, social and emotional well being.  Our beneficiaries are supported over  a 24 hour period by a team of dedicated nurses and clinical assistants.  Beneficiaries who need additional support, for example with aspects of their personal care or more complex needs, are provided with a bespoke plan during their stay.  We work closely with the rehab team in providing holistic support .
