Story

I've entered the London-Surrey 100 ballot for a couple of years now but this is the first time I've been successful. I love cycling but there is no doubt this is going to be one of the hardest challenges I've ever done... it's a long way, it's going to be fast.. and it's going to be very hilly!

I've had the absolute privilege of working with the fantastic people at Sands this year. They do amazing work to support anyone affected by the death of a baby and they are working to improve care and fund vital research.

So I'm thrilled to be riding for #TeamSands, and if there's anything you can give, it will honestly make a difference.

More about Sands...Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, operates across the UK: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives. They depend on the amazing energies of our supporters to raise the vital funds that they need to deliver the wide range of services that they offer. #TeamSands
