Fundraising for Women for Women Events - Genesis Research Trust
Story
Hello!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Let me tell you what the event is going to entail and what your sponsorship can do.
On 23rd October 2010 I will be flying to Bejing where I will be embarking on a 450km (280 mile) bike ride that will take me through the beautiful countryside of the Bejing Province. We will cycle through steep gorges, up mountains and even alongside the Great Wall of China. We have 5 days to complete our epic journey and I am very aware that it will be extremely strenuous. Training is going to be tough and I will keep you all up to date with a blog about my challenges to becoming an experienced cyclist!!
Your generous donations will go to a cause I feel very passionate about. In our developed country 250 babies die every week from complications during pregnancy that we currently don't fully understand. Women for Women is researching to help prevent, diagnose and treat a range of devastating conditions, which cause cancer, miscarriage, infertility and genetic diseases.
So please give whatever you can to help improve the health of women and babies across the UK and the world. When deciding on an amount please.. think of the saddle sores!!
