Story
After 11 weeks (And counting) of family shielding (I.e not leaving house) because Poppy and Lily are clinically critically vulnerable due to Cystic Fibrosis, I've decided to counter-act all the cake-eating with some SERIOUS ACTIVITY! Thanks to CF Care for inspiring me to head off on a VIRTUAL MAGICAL BICYCLE TOUR aka CF Care June Virtual Cycle Challenge.
My bike is set up on a bike-trainer at home and my plan is to cycle from my home in Leeds to Lands End - 655km. I'm hoping to (virtually) visit loads of my lovely friends and family along the way so if you are relatives in Teeside (103km), I expect to get to you on Day 5, friends in London (320km) - Day 15, Crickhowell (355km) Day 17... you get the picture!
The "MAGICAL" bit means that is doesn't matter if you are "en-route".. I've just worked out how far it is from my house to yours so I could be in Ardrossan one day and Tunbridge Wells the next.
I might text you for encouragement (sponsorship?) on the day I'll reach you.. or even better, maybe we can have a catch up call/Whatsapp/Zoom whole I'm on my bike?
Thank you, it means the world xxx
