As many of you are aware, last year we lost our beloved superwoman Kate  due to complications relating to ovarian cancer. Before Kate passed away her goal was to raise awareness of this type of cancer and the importance of knowing its symptoms, by embarking on a 790km trek across Northern Spain (aka El Camino de Santiago) we plan to continue doing just that. In addition to raising awareness we also hope to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Action. Every year, Ovarian Cancer Action promotes 'Walk In Her Name' and challenges fundraisers to organise a walk dedicated to their loved ones in order to raise funds that are vital to the research and materials (such as a screening tool) that will help fight this disease.

By walking in Kate's name, and with your help, we are determined to make this happen. So please consider sponsoring us on our (long) journey and let's walk towards a world where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.
