Story

Hi folks!  WE DID IT!

The weather was mixed - from rain to hail to gail-force winds at the top (I was only saved from being blown to my death by the heroic Lord Compton!!) - but our will was strong!  We got round in 6 hrs 11 mins, beating last year's Trevor's Trekkers time by a whopping 4 minutes!!

It was great fun - the people of Bridgnorth and surrounding villages were brilliant, feeding and watering us as we went round (not to mention Victor's nutty bars and isotonic liquids....!!), and the time flew by.  The scenery was stunning, despite the weather - definitely worth the final rather steep 2 miles up and down to the peak of Brown Clee Hill.

And I can just about walk again today, 2 days on, although have found muscles that I never knew I had in my legs!

Many thanks for sponsoring me - it's much much appreciated, and was a really great incentive at the low points when the knees were screaming!  It's such a worthy cause - the wonderful people who work with leukaemia patients do such a fantastic job; this money will be put to good use.

Donating through the site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks a million,

Kate x
