Story
Well - I did it and the photos to prove it are here:

Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and donated. It's been a real experience...... and not one that I would rush to repeat! Still, over £1,000 for Dogs Trust makes it all worth it and I'm very glad that I'm still alive to look after my three wonderful rescue dogs!
This was my story: Anyone who knows me knows that I'm crazy about dogs. In particular, I have a passion for rescue dogs. I currently have three - and two came from Dogs Trust.
Lucas Blue is a retired greyhound who was in kennels for a year and nine months whilst being overlooked for a home time and time again. He was very nervous and completely phobic about the outside world. Thanks to the Dogs Trust's non-destruct policy, he was looked after until we found him. Humphry Hamilton, a retriever cross, also came from Dogs Trust and they are the most wonderful dogs ever.
I was given the opportunity to do a skydive to raise money for DT on my birthday last year. I'm terrified of both flying and heights, so this is a REAL challenge for me. You get the easy bit - you just have to sit at your computer and donate (as much or as little as you like - please, every little helps). I have to jump out of a plane!
If I'm going to do this foolish thing, I need to make it worthwhile by raising as much money as possible for my chosen charity. The jump will take place on April 17th - which would have been my mum's 79th birthday!

Rescuing dogs and giving them a home and a fresh start in life is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. But there are thousands more that need our help and the Dogs Trust is a very worthy charity to support.
Please, please help me get to £1,000.
Thanks for your donation! And wish me luck!
