Quick Update
Well, the deed is done. I have completed my first and quite possibly (but not definitely) my last half marathon and will never attempt a whole marathon. My time was a sprightly 1.59.22 which surprised me enormously. I give full credit to my running mates Lace and Rob who kept encouraging me and didn't spit with envy at me as I finished my ordeal and they had to continue on for another 21kms. I have no idea how they did it. I had zero energy left despite all of those disgusting energy drinks I'd been drinking.
So that's that but your sponsorship is still very welcome and I'm going to try to keep on running!

PS Photo is of Isabella and me after the race on the ferry that took us across the lake once the sun had come out. And yes, I do have a balloon coming out of my head.
Thanks so much for making it this far!
Please sponsor me as I attempt to run 13.1miles (21km) in Lucerne on Sunday. That's at least 2 hours of pounding along tarmac rather than sitting on a sofa in my free time so it's worth a couple of quid surely. You'll also have the added knowledge that you have helped a charity that really, really makes a difference.
Remember to tick the box if you're a UK taxpayer. Justgiving makes sure that 25% in Gift Aid plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thanks very much indeedy.

PS I hunted high and low for a recent photo of me on my own and failed.... but for those who don't recognise him, that's Max and his dad in the background.
