I’m running for myself; for my family; for my friends; and for you reading this who may also know someone that has had some challenges with their mental well-being. I’ve been a closed book most of my life when it came to my mental health; however this past year was particularly challenging. I unfortunately spent the better part of a year off of work/adjusting back to work following illness (which for those that know me know this is hard as I am usually a workaholic!)

Leeds Mind was one of the organisations that had made a huge difference in my life, between helping me get through my days and helping me return to work. I am running for Leeds Mind as I want others who may be struggling in silence to know there is support out there! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. We can and we will conquer these demons. And if I can help just one person, than this was more than worth it ❤️
