Story
Dear Friends and Family,
I will be embarking on an incredible journey: the "100 Miles for 100 Years in June Challenge" to support the American Heart Association. In the month of June, I am aiming to bike 100 miles to help the American Heart Association fight for a world of longer, healthier lives. This challenge holds a special place in my heart, as it represents a milestone in my life and a commitment to heart health and wellness.
MY STORY
Less than a year ago, during the summer of 2023, I took on a personal challenge (and fear) that changed my life—I learned how to ride a bike. It wasn't easy, but I was determined to push my limits, face my fears, and embrace new experiences. That journey taught me a valuable lesson: it's never too late to learn something new and to take steps toward a healthier, more active lifestyle.
WHY THIS CHALLENGE MATTERS
The American Heart Association has been a beacon of hope and support for countless individuals, working tirelessly to combat heart disease and promote cardiovascular health. By participating in this challenge, I aim to raise funds and awareness for this vital cause, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live a heart-healthy life. The American Heart Association has personally provided me the opportunity to be a certified CPR Instructor and gives me the chance to teach and certify my students in CPR.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
I invite you to join me on this journey by supporting my fundraising campaign. Your generous contributions will go directly to the American Heart Association, funding research, education, and community programs that make a real difference in people's lives. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a world free from heart disease.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. Let's make every mile count!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Katelyn
