Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit kate's memorial page.

In loving memory of Kate Law who passed away from Ovarian cancer on the 11th February 2012 at the age of 29.

To describe kate best, she was kind and generous, loving, with a sensitive soul. She was a doer, looking for the next thing to move on to. For me a stand out part of her was the way she always had time for the people who passed through her life. She had a real vested interest in other's lives. Her sense of humour was very sweet, she could tease and charm at the same time. Kate's greatest gift was being Kate, she gave more back than what she took. She was well loved, as a girlfriend, as a daughter, a big sister, niece,  cousin, and as an auntie. She was aLots a very good friend, she touched the lives of a lot of people. I know the  world is sadder place without her because she gave back more than she took, the mark of a good life and a great person.

Kate was so positive and so strong all throughout the time of her illness, she was so much more than that, it was just a small part of her life. She thought of this as "just a hurdle to get over" a delay to life's plans. This year was meant to be an exciting time, full of changes and new begginings, plans to go travelling, to see the world, and then, on return start a family and move onto a different stage of life. Also, to have her 30th birthday on the 8th November.

Not enough is known about ovarian cancer at the moment, more often than not, it is diagnosed at a late stage when it's a lot more difficult to treat. This disease stopped kate from living her life fulfilling and fulfiiling her plans, as it has with many other women. If the treatment had succeeded and things had worked out differently, this page would still have existed but it would have been Kate who had set it up. She was forever saying she wanted to help and donate once she got well but things happened so quickly that she never given that chance. Please help on Kate's behalf and donate to help to stop this disease and the pain it causes to the lives it affects.

"When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight".
