Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
850,000 people are currently affected by dementia in Britain, and 1 in 3 born in 2015 will go on to develop dementia (Alzheimer’s UK).
A quarter of hospital beds are taken up with dementia patients (NHS) so even if dementia hasn’t affected you directly that’s not to say it doesn’t or won’t affect you in the future.
Truly heartbreaking disease for all involved 💔
Please give what you can, and if you can’t please consider signing one of the many petitions on Facebook and online. Or just watch out for that person looking confused or blank in the train station or the supermarket.
We need a world without dementia, and we need a world which is Dementia friendly in the mean time.
