Story
On 10 July I will be taking part in Walk for Kit to save babies' lives by raising money for Kit Tarka Foundation - a charity set up by my very dear friend Sarah following the death of her newborn son, Kit. We are taking our two children with us and quite how we'll all get round the 6.5 mile course we haven't quite worked out yet but we will!
All donations will be gratefully received. Kit Tarka Foundation works to prevent newborn baby deaths, primarily through raising awareness of neonatal herpes (the cold sore virus in babies). Neonatal herpes is thought to be the cause of death of up to one baby every week in the UK yet in almost all cases is preventable. By supporting Walk for Kit you will be helping us to educate health professionals and the general public on the dangers of the herpes virus in babies and helping to save precious lives as a result. Thank you for your support
