I'm dusting off my trainers to raise awareness and funds for a cause extremely close to my heart. In December 2009, my wonderful dad lost his fight with pancreatic cancer at the age of 57. Before dad became ill I had never heard of pancreatic cancer. I would later find out that pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of any cancer; approximately 3% of people survive past five years with most losing the battle within months, if not weeks, of diagnosis. With this in mind, I hope to raise some cash to help fund much needed research into this little understood cancer. All donations, not matter what size, will be very gratefully received!
