Story
Watching my mum struggle everyday with Parkinsons disease never moaning, makes me want to do something. Mum was a nurse for 30+ years, so always understood what having Parkinson's would mean once diagnosed.
She continued with doing the things she enjoyed, living in Thailand with a busy social life until she moved back to the UK due to her illness.
Also my husband, Jimmy's Aunt, Edna Grant, suffered badly from Parkinsons and died in 2010 after years of struggling. Edna was a teacher and enjoyed pottery, when she retired, Edna never allowed her diease to stop her doing the things she enjoyed, she remained independant and continued with her pottery and social life in Birmingham.
