Story
I am terrified to announce I am running the London Marathon 2022. I am proud to announce I will be running for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
In 2020, the Air Ambulance attended to my Dad when he fell unwell. The helicopter touched down with an amazing response time and managed to keep him stable until he reached Papworth Hospital. Sadly, we didn't get to keep him with us despite best efforts. If I can fundraise enough to reach my goal, it wouldn't be a drop in the ocean to what this Charity deserve to keep them in the air.
Please donate if you can. We always think it wont happen to us, we wont use it, doesnt affect my family, until it does.
This incredible charity deserves all the support we can give, and I wouldn't mind some either! Even a small donation can make such a difference. Please dig deep, follow my progress and support the Air Ambulance ❤🚁
East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on the support of the community. The crews are tasked an average of 8 times a day across the two bases, with each mission costing in the region of £3,500. They can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes when every second can make the difference to a patient in their time of need.
