Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well I am pleased to say that I finished my first ever marathon in 4 hours 32 minutes. Not as fast as I had hoped but finished never the less.  Despite having done up to 23 miles in training the last 3 miles were still hard. I missed most of the sights located in the last three miles.

However the experience was amazing.  There were so many people running for great causes and there was huge support all of the way around the course.

I have attached a picutre of my friend and I at the end of the run to prove that we did it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few months through sponsorship, training, support and well wishes.

As you can see I have exceeded my target for st Giles Hospice and I would like to thank everyone who sponsored me. Looking at the new premises that have recently been opened at st Giles I can see that I chose a fantastic charity to support.

If you ever have the urge to take on a new challenge then give the London Marathon a go.  It is an amazing if not exhausting day.

Thanks again

Kate

Thank you
