Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The last time I rode a bike with any regularity they only had 3 gears, I rarely rode further than the end of my road and I spent most of my time coveting my friend’s chopper.

Now I’m intending to cycle from to – 310km and three days in the saddle.

Why? First and foremost, to raise money for the Meningitis Trust. My nephew, Angus, was diagnosed with meningitis at just 6 days old. He’s since made a full recovery, but not everyone has the same story and this is where the work and the support of the Meningitis Trust is so important.

But I also want to do it for me, I’ve never challenged myself in this way before and despite the fact that the very thought of this ride makes my heart race and my palms sweat, I’m looking forward to it…bring it on!
