Milly, Crystal, Naomi, Karen and I are rowing 50km from Lincoln to Boston in a coxed quad on 18th September to raise money for Cancer Research UK.  Last year's winning time for our category was 4 hours and 49 minutes.....

In June this year, Milly lost her Mum, Jessica, to Cancer.  As close friends and a rowing crew, it was a difficult reminder to us all of loved ones who are fighting or have fought this disease.  My Dad, Geoff, died of prostate Cancer in 2006 and my mother-in-law, Barbara, is currently battling breast Cancer. 

I don't know anyone who hasn't been affected by cancer in one way or another.  Every day I talk to friends and colleagues who are fighting, caring or grieving for people with Cancer, so please, please give generously to help with the research to prevent, diagnose and treat it.
