Story
Very sadly my sister passed away in St Lukes last weekend after a really short battle with pancreatic cancer.
St Lukes were amazing in her last days and I am so grateful for the care they gave her and her family during that time.
They had a spare place for me to join their team running the Sheffield Half Marathon next week, so with very little training I am going to do my very best to raise as much money as I can with for a fabulous charity!
It’s my way of saying thank you & to let them know I’ll be ever grateful for making her comfortable x
Thank you for supporting St Luke's by running the Sheffield Half Marathon, your sponsorship will help us in our mission to deliver the best possible care to Sheffield people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and their families. Our skilled, dedicated staff care for 1,800 adult patients a year - all free of charge. As we only receive 23% of our funding from the NHS we need to raise £7.2 million each year to keep providing services across Sheffield.
