Event: Robin Hood Half Marathon 2015, on 27 September 2015

Story

Earlier this year we thought it would be a good idea to raise vital funds for the Clinical Haematology Department at Nottingham City Hospital to say thank you for the excellent care and support they had provided to our mum/mammar over the last 6 years.  At the time, we were feeling really positive about the treatment being offered and although we knew that she was very ill we didn't think for one minute that she wouldn't be with us to see us cross the finish line.

Sadly she lost her battle to cancer on the 22nd September.  We will all miss her terribly, she will leave a huge void in our lives.

We know that she would still want us to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon to say thank to the incredible team that supported her throughout her illness.

It's going to be emotional but we know she'll be looking down on us and smiling.

All donations will be greatly appreciated,
thank you - Tracy and Kate xx
