Story
Hellooooo! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In August I will be taking on the 100-mile road ride around London and Surrey in order to raise money for my chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.
In 1998 my family had the unfortunate need for the support of the Macmillan nurses as my Dad was diagnosed with terminal Cancer. With the help he was able to enjoy his last two weeks at home surrounded by his family and friends. The nurses not only looked after him but also managed to entertain two excitable children who enjoyed the fuss around the house at the time but were somewhat unaware of what the future may bring to them.
So that said, I have grown up since and I want to give back to those who helped my family so much, so that they can continue their work and support others in such hardship. I've chosen to do the London Prudential 100 because as I remember my Dad was sportiest person ever and I'm addicted to cycling!!
