Story
My name is Seb and I am 8 years old. Last year my brother Josh passed away when he was only 12. Josh was my best friend and I miss him so much.
Josh had FoxG1 syndrome which meant that he needed a lot of care. He often spent time at Claire House Children's hospice where he received respite.
After Josh passed away I was able to spend time with him at Claire House in their Butterfly suite. This meant that I could say goodbye to him and be supported by their amazing team. Claire House have also given me chances to spend time with other siblings who have lost their brother or sister. This has been so good for me as I didn't know anyone who had lost a sibling.
To say thank you I want to raise money for Claire House. I am going to do this by walking from Lymm to Emirates Old Trafford on the 18th June (Father's Day). The walk is around 13 miles.
I have chosen this walk because since Josh passed away I have found a lot of happiness through playing and watching cricket especially watching Lancashire and Manchester Originals. My target is to walk (with my mum and dad) to the Lancashire Lightning match against Durham. I love cricket but not so much long walks so this will be a challenge for me!
I would be very grateful for any support you could give me Thank you Seb 🏏
