So back in August 2013 I stood watching the first RideLondon Surrey 100 race wishing I had entered, thinking “I could do that…. If I had bike”

And this year I am!

I have been fortunate enough to be chosen by Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to raise money and cycle as part of their RideLondon Surrey 100 team on August 10 2014. Unfortunatly, I am sure that like me you have friends & family that have been affected by blood cancers. This charity is dedicated to improving lives of patients as well as carrying out research to stop people developing blood cancers in the first place.

RideLondon Surrey 100 is a 100 mile cycle ride starting at the Olympic stadium and finishing in The Mall , going via Surrey….this is the same route that the Olympic riders followed in London 2012. Yes, I will be cycling up Box Hill, yes, I will be cycling 100 miles in one day.

 

 

Just to clarify, I don’t really do cycling, I didn't own a bike until a couple of weeks ago and most of my lycra is for fancy dress. However, I am a tiny bit competitive and I really really want to do this, and I really want raise money for a brilliant charity, so please sponsor me J
