We did this last year (in major downpours) and we're back again this year....with hopefully less downpours!! Between us, we raised a staggering £1400, thanks to all those who kindly supported us. We would like to think we can do so again but not without your kind donations.....

Mentoring Plus is a much needed resource to our young people today, providing them with access to share their worries & concerns, and have a mentor they can trust and feel comfortable with. The last 18 months has had a detrimental impact on our children & charities nationwide, so this is why we need to come together and support both.

Mentoring Plus not only provide a listening ear,  but also facilitate days out that give those in need an opportunity to escape the doldrums of daily life, be it an outing with their mentor that may potentially expose them to new ideas, change their outlook on their present situation or just give them renewed energy in which to approach the week ahead or just to guide them in as much or as little a way that they see fit.

So many of those that have been helped through Mentoring Plus have shared their experiences and here are some positive thoughts and feedback from some who have benefitted.....

"I’m 8 out of 10. 2 months ago I would have been zero. My mum’s not shouting so much. I used to get angry.”

"Mentoring has helped me with my anger. It’s someone older than me – like an older friend.”

"Mentoring helped to talk to someone about what’s been going on. I think about tough things and put them in perspective. I can remind myself where I stand with people, where they stand with me."
