On Sunday 14th July I will be running The British 10k London Run to help raise money for The Princess Alice Hospice, who provided end of life care to my Nan last year

 

·     £5,a ward patient’s meals for one day; many of our patients like a tipple with their meals, a little of what you like can do you the world of good.

·     £15,art supplies for one patient for all their time at the Day Hospice, offering a fun, social and creative outlet in volunteer led art classes.

·     £50, a complementary therapy session for two patients; these reflexology, aromatherapy and massage sessions can help to ease stress, anxiety and pain. 

·     £100, a visit from a community based Princess Alice Nurse at a patient’s home.  Our nurse’s specialist advice and support help patients’ and their families and friends to cope with the physical, emotional, social or practical difficulties that people face when they have a life limiting illness.

·     £498 Average cost of one day of care as an inpatient.

·     £98 Average cost of each home visit.
