Event: London Marathon 2023, on 23 April 2023
Our incredible London Marathon team are taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds to improve diagnosis and treatment, and to fund research into finding a cure; to raise awareness and to give people hope, comfort and confidence to live freer, fuller lives.

Story

I am taking part in the 2023 TCS London Marathon to support Crohn's & Colitis UK. I was very lucky and managed to secure a ballot place but I wanted to use this opportunity to raise money for a charity that’s important to me. Plus I need some motivation after a year off running!

Unfortunately one of my beautiful friends suffers from Crohn’s disease and I know the impact it has on her life (even though most people wouldn’t realise as she’s the most positive person you will ever meet). She really does have a tough time and I can’t bloody wait until they find a cure! The money raised will go towards supporting people who suffer from Crohn's & Colitis, to fund research into finding a cure and raise awareness.

I’ve still got lots of training to do, in fact I haven’t really started but knowing it’s all for a great cause will get me through. Thanks in advance for any donations, I really appreciate it.
