We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

This is for the inspirational Jen who has taught me that with positive thoughts and motivation you can achieve more than you ever imagined.
Jen is 35 and was diagnosed a year ago with stage 4 cancer.  In the last 12 months she has had brain surgery, radiotherapy to her brain, and a targeted therapy.

Jen challenged me to compete in a triathlon this year, which I have to say was huge achievement, but jumping off the top of a 300ft building when your petrified of heights - really?

There is a team of 10 participating in the abseil, including Jen, even though she will be half way through a course of radiotherapy treatments.  The epitome of leadership!

Look up, not down ! Oh boy am I really going to do this? Yes...I am!

Please help us to raise as much as we can for vital research that will improve treatments and save lives.

Have a look at the Wellerfest team page to see Jen's story.  Thank you Jen and to all you lovely supporters!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
