Story
I am taking on the challenge of abseiling down one of London's tallest skyscrapers, the Leadenhall Building. Standing at 225 metres tall, it's the tallest abseil in the country, so I'm definitely going to have to face my fears! Unfortunately it’s a challenge that has been postponed a couple of times because of Covid, but hopefully it’s going ahead in May 2022.
My next challenge is that I'm embarking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge with my wonderful friend, Lydia. Together we will climb Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowden all in 24 hours. Suffice to say, we expect there to be sweat, tears, and a fair amount of blisters.
Finally I’m attempting the London Landmarks half marathon in April 2022!
I started working for Maggie's at The Royal Marsden nearly two years ago when the centre first opened. Since then we've been able to support thousands of people living with cancer and their families. Living with cancer brings such a lot of challenges and I'm constantly reminded of the strength and resilience demonstrated by our visitors. I'm taking these challenges on for our visitors, and the amazing team I get to work with every day.
