Fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My lovely friend – Rebecca Phelps passed away on 30th September from secondary breast cancer. She was far too young to die, and she was a true fighter right until the end. She has inspired me so much and taught me that when 'the going gets tough, you just got to keep on going'. Before she passed away she told me that her favourite song was Karma Chameleon by Culture Club, she absolutely loved this song! As a tribute to Becky I have released a special version of this track, and it is now available in most online music stores (links below).
Becky had only just turned 40 when she passed away. Whilst she was having her treatment she was in awe of the support that Teenage Cancer Trust gave her when she was on the ward in Leeds. She wanted any donations from her funeral to go towards supporting this amazing charity. With this in mind, I decided that all proceeds from every single download of my song will go to Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of Becky. I have set up this page for people that do not have the online music platforms and cannot download the song, and would just like to donate. So far the support from people has been really overwhelming. We just wish Becky was here to enjoy the attention she so much deserved.
