As you may know, on 18 April 2010 we are going to be taking part in a zip-slide from the Top Balcony at Goodison Park to the bottom of the Bullens Road stand, in order to raise funds for the Everton Foundation. Now, anyone who has been to Goodison will know that this means we're pretty much putting our lives on the line and we both spent the majority of the weekends game looking up and wondering what we had signed up to.

 

The Everton Foundation is a terrific charity which raises money to assist with a variety of schemes within the Merseyside and greater North West area, dealing with issues such as disability, education, healthcare in schools, social inclusion and behaviour within the community. They also do some great work with Alder Hey Children's Hospital, getting the kids there involved in sports and healthcare initiatives. TEF is a totally independent trust, sponsored by Everton and run for the benefit of the community.
