Story
This weekend, our kind hearted and determined daughter Ava is attempting a whopping 20 mile bike ride in memory of her dear Great Nana. When Ava was told that she had gone to heaven, she announced that she wanted to do a cycle ride to help raise money for other people who were poorly like Nana. For this reason we have chosen to support a charity local to Nana, called Dementia Support, who do a wonderful job supporting families struggling with the difficulties and cruelties of this life changing illness. If you would like to show your support, we have a just giving page which you can go to using the link below. Thank you so much 💕
Dementia is now the leading cause of death in the UK. It’s a devastating and complex condition. Every 3 minutes somebody will develop dementia. There is no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK. We at Dementia Support are there for all those who need our help. We reduce loneliness, give the best quality care and provide hope, supporting the whole family. We have launched The Wayfinder Appeal to fund more personal advisors and life-changing dementia support services to help families face the future with hope and confidence.
