Story

I was given the chance to run the Brighton Marathon 2020 on behalf of the amazing Hospice in the Weald.  Sadly that didn't happen thanks to postponement (twice!) but FINALLY, after what feels like a very long time training, the event is going ahead in September 2021!  And I cannot wait :)

Across the country charities have lost out on huge income thanks to events like marathons being cancelled.  But now is our chance to help them and raise as much money as we can!  This charity give compassionate and incredibly supportive palliative care for patients in our community with terminal illness, and support their families and carers.

Hospice in the Weald has provided family members and friends of mine and many people I know with amazing and truly dignified end of life care and I look forward to giving back to this charity in this way.  There is nothing that powers you through long distance running than the memories of those who we've lost...

So please, if you can, give generously for this fantastic cause whilst I try and beat my marathon time of 2018 - not hard at 5.27 hours!!

Thank you, thank you!
