Story

We are supporting Cycle4Sepsis in their mission to raise awareness about sepsis across the country. Every year in the UK, sepsis kills at least 48,000 people with better awareness thousands of these lives could be saved.

In celebration of World Sepsis Day on 13th September, we will be cycling indoors for the duration of 24 hours alternating between ourselves every 3 hours (yes, we are slightly mad).

We are looking for some special, kind people to sponsor us and help raise awareness! So if you could, it would be great if you would donate to our page.

Thank you for your help - your support and donations will make the difference!

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
